computer interface elements is perhaps the most generic of
all software. CSS and HTML markup do form a part of Web
Design, but these elements also fall under the auspice of
Web Development. Web Design should reflect the message a
business is trying to send, and so branding is also a big
part of Web Design, the resulting site should appear
consistent with the brand.

Interface Design concentrates on the Human Computer
Interface. The interface is intimately related with the
user base, a web sites interface has to be more immediately
obvious than perhaps a specialised interface used by a small
groups of users intensively where efficiency of data entry
and accuracy of reporting is more relevant. An interface
should be designed for those who are using the system.
